1. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer within the meaning of German law and the contract was concluded at a distance, you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving any reason, unless a statutory exception applies.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date on which the contract is concluded.

2. Exercising your right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us:

of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement, for example by email or letter.

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice before the withdrawal period expires.

3. Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal.

We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

4. Early commencement of German lessons

If you wish the German lessons to begin during the withdrawal period, you must expressly request this.

If you withdraw after lessons have begun at your express request, you may, where the statutory requirements are met, be required to pay a proportionate amount for the lessons already provided before your withdrawal.

For a paid service contract, your right of withdrawal expires early only once the service has been fully performed, provided that you expressly consented to the service beginning before the withdrawal period expired and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal once the contract had been fully performed.
